The prices are also completely unjustified. For what you pay, I expected fresh, well-seasoned food, but instead received an overpriced meal that lacked flavour and quality. I'm genuinely surprised the restaurant has managed to stay open for as long as it has.
Even more concerning was the state of the restaurant itself. It felt dirty and poorly maintained, with a damp smell throughout the dining area and I even spotted two mice which could be a sign of some sort of infestation that just made the experience unpleasant and deeply shocking. The air conditioning also appeared to be broken, making the restaurant unbearably hot during the summer. Not only was this uncomfortable as a customer, but it also raised concerns about the working conditions for the staff.
Overall, this was a thoroughly disappointing experience. Between the poor food, high prices, and unhygienic environment, I cannot recommend Mission Burrito to anyone. There are far better places to spend your money in Oxford, and I certainly won't be returning.
