Very busy but got seats quickly 😀
Initially waitress very engaging and pleasant.
Drinks and food order placed. The thing is you get your food in no particular order just when it’s ready and that’s 🆗
Half starters arrive quickly. My wife’s main quite quick😀
My order and the second starter absolute nightmare😟
Ask why and it takes three more waiters/manager to ask me what I have ordered😟Why don’t you know😟
Eventually we get told it’s too hot in the kitchen and they don’t have enough staff😟
That’s not my fault and why didn’t you say when I was ordering 😟
Eventually after my wife has almost eaten all her food my order arrives with an apology😀
Not happy😟
Meanwhile my neighbours on the table have ordered and eaten and drunk their goodies 😟
To finish on a high note my main meal was free and no service charge applied. That’s good but I would rather have had a great experience and paid for it all.
Not up to the usual Wagamama standard 😟🏴
Will I go to Wagamamas again. More than likely but not for a while.
I should say when I did get to eat my meal it was exactly what I expected to be and tasty which I s just frustrating 😀
Ordered their katsu chicken curry and grilled chicken ramen. Both were good. Large portions. Came with some salad on the side.
I found the dishes here to be mild and subtle, catering well to the British palate. Not sure if this is the most authentic version but it's a great spot for those who prefer a gentler introduction to Japanese cuisine.
