What a wonderful find in Beckley. We had such a lovely time and every part of the meal was spot on.

The roast dinners were absolutely delicious, especially the Yorkshire puddings which were perfectly golden and light. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and it is clear they take real pride in what they serve.

We also enjoyed the starters and a refreshing pint from Hook Norton Brewery. It is a fantastic spot and we will definitely be coming back soon.

Abingdon Arms is a fantastic pub and one I would highly recommend. They offer a great selection of drinks, including excellent ciders and a menu featuring delicious locally sourced food. We enjoyed the ciders alongside a pork pie, which was the perfect choice for a relaxing afternoon. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, making it a lovely place to sit and unwind. Whether you're looking for a rest stop during a walk, a casual drink, or a full meal out, The Abingdon Arms is well worth a visit. Friendly atmosphere, quality local produce, and stunning scenery, we’ll definitely be back.

This is a lovely pub, with nice beer and amazing views.
Visited today for lunch for a change. My partners fish and chips looked lovely and he enjoyed it.
I ordered a pie and extra chips as didn't appear to come with potatoes of any sorts.
The pie was more of a stew with a lid, which is fine as am quite happy with a puff pastry top. But it was served in an over sized dish with the pastry lid dumped in the middle of the stew, so not great presentation. Would be better with a smaller but deeper container that the lid actually fits. The green veggies were fine.
It also came with roast potatoes and roasted root veggies. The potatoes were burnt but soggy rather than crispy and quite frankly inedible, the other roasted veg wasn't much better. Glad I ordered chips as they were very nice.
Shame as the venue is amazing but was disappointed with the food.

we had the loveliest visit this easter sunday - we ordered two (massive!!) roasts and left stuffed!! the food was delicious and the view was even better!! their garden is huge and full of tables on both levels and the view is just stunning. a real hidden gem just 15mins from oxford, with plenty of circular walks around the local countryside (there is a map outside the pub). a 10/10 pub in a gorgeous small town - can highly recommend! thank you so much to all the team!!

A great night out at this pub.

Located in a very nice village outside Oxford. The scenery is beautiful. It must be wonderful to be here in the summer with their outdoor seating. Will definitely come back for that.

Food is great. The starter was on the small portion side. The grilled Brie was amazing!! I enjoyed my slow cooked lamb. Service was good.

Price was fair - shared 3 starters among 6 of us, each had a main and a drink. Paying just under £30 per person.

Overall a great experience. Highly recommend!
