Had a fantastic time visiting this spot. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming, making it a great place to relax.

The food was spot on. I particularly enjoyed the roast, which came with a perfectly golden, crispy Yorkshire pudding that tasted just like a homemade Sunday dinner.

Everything was served promptly and the selection behind the bar is impressive. I will definitely be coming back soon for another round.

They handled a group of 23 for Friday lunch very well. Was able to book a week in advance and arrange pre-orders a couple of days in advance, no deposit or booking fee required. Food took some time to come out, but it was clearly made fresh and was delicious. Everyone agreed that the pizzas were especially excellent!

We visited The Hollybush for their 2 for 1 pizza deal and were really impressed. The pizzas were delicious! Fresh, flavourful, and great value for money.

A big shoutout to Alex, who served us throughout the evening. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, Alex made the whole experience even better.

If you’re looking for great food, good vibes, and excellent service, The Hollybush is definitely worth a visit!

Such a brilliant Sunday lunch at a lovely pub. Staff were great and I got to try a couple of IPAs before buying. Roast beef was delicious with all trimmings. Definitely plan to come back. 50% discount for students alsoade it great value.

Due to the ongoing semi - permanent bridge works @ Oxford train station this cosy little pub was alot busier than usual im pretty sure ? There were queues for the bar reaching to to the door just after 6pm !
We had chosen this pub as it was fairly close to The King's Centre, to which we were headed after for a live musical performance (the less said about that the better).
We decided to opt for the pizzas 🍕 on perusing the menu and we noticed there was a big special deck pizza oven in the pub on view just behind the back bar to the right of the entrance.
The service was ok but it said on the menu to ask what the "pizza of the day" was ? So when my friend asked one of the staff this who was on hand clearing up the tables, he replied "there is no pizza of the day today as there are no posters saying this in the pub ?" So why put it on the menu to ask about them ?? 🤔
Well, getting onto the food we opted for the spiced pepperoni and the burger 🍔 topped with pickles and American mustard? We had half each to try both.
I would rate the pizzas 7/10 and the only gripe would be the base was slightly burnt on one, but that probably comes with using a specialist pizza oven. If I would go again id keep the pepperoni all to myself lol. One thing we might have tried on reflection next time is the £20 sharing platter ?
On the whole no complaints bar the smart ass reply from the staff member. The one who looked like he was from Bill & Ted's excellent adventure was cool though. 😎 . The pints were £6 each for Cruzcampo & Bir moretti which i suppose for City centre prices is about standard ?
We shall return !!
