We hired the Taproom for our wedding reception/party recently, and we really can't praise the venue or the team enough.
The team are all super friendly and provided amazing service for us and our guests on the day itself, and ensured the event ran smoothly. The pizzas are also worth their own mention - they're so good!
A huge shoutout to Mark, the manager, he provided so much support in the preparation for the day, and nothing was too big of an ask.
We highly recommend if you're considering the Taproom for an event, or for a visit - the venue has such a lovely atmosphere and the staff are great!

Attended the St Patrick’s party a few days ago. Fantastic foot tapping music. Great atmosphere, great people, great service and fantastic own beers locally brewed. Their Events Manager to be congratulated on organising such a super event.

Another fab night out at TAP SOCIAL... Love this bar! Brilliant band, great beer, and a really lovely warm friendly atmosphere. Enjoyable decor too, and noticed that they had a fancy pizza van outside too, this time! I will be back...

Wow! So unfriendly. We tried the trip out here for some tasty beer but we were not made to feel welcome and there was just such an indifferent attitude.
We've known and admired Tap Social for many years and jumped at the chance to visit the brewery - despite the £20 odd each way taxi fares from Oxford. The fact that they had an Oktoberfest beginning at 2.00pm that day was an even bigger draw.
We arrived at 2.30pm and stumbled upon what appeared to be a mother and toddler quiz, quite inappropriate for a brewery, and were told we couldn't have most of the beers because the staff were running behind but we could have one if we went and sat upstairs until they were ready. When we finished our drinks the staff were even more objectionable about serving us another because they still weren't ready! (Really - what else we were meant to do on an industrial estate on a Saturday, sandwiched between major roads and miles from anywhere is beyond me). Eventually the Oktoberfest was ready and we managed to get a can of their special beer but when we asked whether they were going to put on Oktoberfest music to complement their decorations and costumes - we were told they would when they were ready. This was the cue to leave.
Don’t waste your hard earned cash visiting here from Oxford. If you want Tap Social, go to the covered market where the staff are at least more welcoming.

Overall a lovely venue with nice selection of drinks and pizzas outside! We went to see a comedy and the stage and seats were good but it had this very strange scent….between a throwing up and feces that came coiming up in the venue… My friends who have been before said that they have smelled it before as well. The location is quite difficult to get to so thays another minus but wish they have a venue more closer to town and sorting the scent will be great. If they can also sell some proof bakery items will be great too!
