Only issue I had was my cup was chipped which can be dangerous as could cut your lip but luckily I saw it and avoided drinking that side. And chipped cups should be chucked away.
Also toilets were out of loo paper and I don't feel they're checked often enough for a busy branch.
Apart from that I'd happily come again as the food and service is friendly.
A perfect start to our Oxford city tour! We stopped by George & Danver Ice Cream Shop and it was exactly what we needed—nice, cool, and refreshing.
The ice cream was delicious with great flavors, and the quality really stood out. It gave us a fresh boost before exploring the city. The vibe is simple but enjoyable, and it’s a great quick stop while walking around Oxford.
Definitely a lovely place to grab a treat and kick off your day!
I ordered a coffee, which wasn’t hot and unfortunately had very little taste. I also ordered two waffles, but they were extremely oily and didn’t taste nice at all, maybe different mix needed, All I could taste was the oil, rather than the sweetness and flavour you would expect from a waffle. Sticky tables. Won't be coming back.
