Stunning food cooked authentically in a great spot near the town centre. I highly recommend the Crispy duck Pad Kaprow. Had a spicy soup too.

I had a fantastic experience at Thaikhun Oxford. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavours and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was fresh, well-prepared, and packed with taste.

What really made the visit special, though, was the incredible team. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and attentive from the moment we arrived. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after throughout our meal, creating a genuinely relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

It’s clear that the team takes great pride in both the food and the customer experience. Thank you to everyone at Thaikhun Oxford for such a memorable visit. I can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent Thai food and outstanding service! 🌟🙏🍜

First time in Oxford with family and friends, and we had such a lovely experience at Thaikhun. The food was absolutely phenomenal — full of flavour and beautifully presented. We also loved the design and atmosphere of the restaurant, it looked so cool and really added to the experience.

Service could definitely be improved overall, but one member of staff took really great care of our table and made us feel very welcome. Despite the slower service at times, the amazing food and vibe made it a memorable visit. Definitely worth checking out!

Disappointing experience , came here for a birthday dinner. Pad thai was ok have had much better at smaller restaurants and for the price i payed i expected a much bigger portion. As well as that we waited over an hour for our food it was quite busy however everyone who arrived after us got the food much before us so believe the kitchen forgot our order. However 3 stars for the service as the staff were lovely and the decor inside the restaurant is stunning.

Our first time eating at this restaurant and wow! Came out of the theatre looking for somewhere to eat and virtually next door is this gem. First impressions were, it’s a big, quirky place with strange, unusual décor, like downtown Bangkok I guess, weird things stuck to the walls and hanging from the ceiling, odd bits of corrugated sheeting, posters, pots, lanterns and balloons; a riot of colour, full of interest, and even a boat hanging in the middle! The quirk continued downstairs, interesting seating and an open kitchen which we were lucky enough to be sat right in front of, so we could watch their expert chefs at work.
They had a fantastic range of plant-based options, so we were well catered for and spoilt for choice. We went for the pinto menu for two, an easy option, where you can choose a curry type, a stir fry, a special noodle option and a choice of rice, to share. The food was amazing! Absolutely delicious, and plenty of it. The green curry was creamy, spicy and warming. The yummy cashew stir fry was tangy, in a chilli sweet and sour sauce, with veggies and soft tofu cubes. The Pad Thai was moreish, with peanuts and lime on top, and there was loads of fragrant Jasmine rice to soak up the lovely sauces. What a fabulous Thai feast, for under twenty quid a head!
The place was really interesting, the food amazing and the service was great… we will definitely be back.
