The Indian thali was particularly well done, offering a thoughtful and satisfying balance of South Indian and North Indian flavours. The food was fresh, well judged, and clearly prepared with care.
A special mention for the excellent service by Ankush, whose warm, attentive hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The service struck exactly the right note—professional, welcoming, and unobtrusive.
The décor creates a welcoming atmosphere, the music adds nicely to the experience, and the location is ideal—close enough to Oxford’s colleges to be convenient, while offering a distinct Cowley Road character.
I was also delighted to learn about the forthcoming Goan-Portuguese Seafood Festival, which sounds like an excellent reason to return in the coming weeks.
Excellent food, excellent hospitality, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. A place I would gladly recommend in Oxford.
It was still quiet, the restaurant was clean, organised and nicely decorated.
They also have a garden area at the back.
The food was nice, but its still a bit spicy for me.
The thali was good portion, I think its well worth the price.
The waiter was helpful and friendly.
We will visit again.
