The pasta is handmade, and cooked in a delicious, glossy sauce that I couldn’t get enough of. My partner and I were tempted to lick our bowls! (Jk) 😋 You can even see them making their raviolis
Had a bit of an issue with my pasta in terms of how it was cooked which was not a big deal and the staff was so accommodating and sweet. They replaced my meal and took it off the bill!
The front of house was really nice, he did not at all force us to follow the terms and conditions of FirstTable bookings (which is that you need to buy a drink per person).
We were so happy and pleased with our dining experience here. It was our first time in Oxford so dining here put a pleasant end to our trip!

One of the dishes was a little too salty for our taste, but when we mentioned it, the team handled it so well. They listened carefully, took it seriously, and explained that the saltiness was likely coming from the sausage. They then kindly made us another pasta dish instead, which we really appreciated.
Overall, a very good experience. Good food, fresh pasta and polite, thoughtful service. Would happily come back.
I recommend getting the portfolio mocktail, very refreshing with a hint of elderflower. I also ordered a vegan pasta with Italian sausage.

The pasta was absolutely delicious! especially when adding the Italian sausage as an extra topping. The yellow tomato sauce was well seasoned with spices such as peppercorns and rosemary. You can tell that the pasta in this dish is homemade with it's thick and al dente texture. Their portion sizes are really good! I was really full just after eating one of their hearty fillings pasta dishes. I also recommend getting the tomato salad with baratta cheese. It's quite a large size so it's definitely worth ordering.
