We've used the field multiple times with our 2 pups and it's perfect for a good run around and off lead recall training. Plenty of space and well maintained. We had a picnic on the bench one day and the shelter is a great relief from both sun and rain. The secure parking area is particularly helpful. Definitely worth going when Maudes cafe is open, delicious breakfast and so kind and welcoming to dogs... watching the horses from the outdoors seating is a real treat too.
As regards other users leaving poops behind, it does happen but I've never seen more than one and it definitely wouldn't put me off going or recommending.

Lovely big field with some agility equipment and a fresh water drinker, dogs had tonnes of fun however I was disappointed to see at least 7 dog poos that has been left behind from previous people and not cleared up. None were fresh so the field is not being cleared regularly.

It's good place but not meant for my dog who got distracted frequently with horses and we could not train a minute for her recall. Good for dogs who are already trained bit and or Adult dogs. Bit calmer dogs will be fine for this place. When you get in you have to keep following the sign quite inside of field until you reach Bound Around field. It's quite protected and easy to walk around wit off lead.

Decent sized enclosed field with added bonus of a picnic table and a few pieces of agility equipment, tyres, etc. Great that poo bags are provided (had my own, but still good to know) and that the bin is inside the paddock. Was clean and grass cut short and thankfully not too muddy despite recent wet weather. Dogs had great fun chasing each other around and having lots of sniffs. Will definitely use again.
*Note for those with more sensitive or anxious dogs, there’s a bit of noise from the A40 (but it didn’t bother me or my dogs).

Lovely spot. Large healthy lawn with some tyres, jumps and other obstacles that the kids enjoyed as much as the pup. It’s a new spot, so signs aren’t even up yet. But the owners were lovely and helpful. A tired dog is a happy dog!
