Luckily when I visited it with my 10 month old baby, it was empty, and the weather was perfect..sunny on a winter afternoon with no wind...just the ideal things I crave for!! That is why 4 stars from my side but you may visit it on another time and day and might not feel the same. I was staying nearby at a hotel and went strolling with my baby to this nice and tidy park and enjoyed the swings and had prepacked lunch on the bench, clicked some pics, took some videos and came back. There is a natural reserve nearby which has a small pond but I did not find it too attractive (maybe summers are more lively there). Crossed a couple of dog walkers and occasional mom strolling with their babies. I didnot see any signs of washrooms. Lots of parking spaces in the vicinity of stadium and hotels.
Overall, I had a good experience and hope that you have it too!

I love this place, dog walkers, families and people of all ages enjoying it's facilities and Spindleberry Nature Park.
Sadly for the past few weeks, some 'idiots' have been braking glass bottles and at times it's difficult to see it on the grass. Do be aware, specially if you have children or/dogs running around. Council Workers have been cleaning regularly but the 'idiots' do return now and then. Just very sad 😔

My house immediately faces here less than 10 ft. People use as short cut drops rubbish which then blows onto porch or piles up at front door. Very noisy even have people riding motor bike / scooter through, going back & forth across the grass revving engines also doing practice obstacle jumps, Have to keep windows closed at all times VERY NOISY not all pick up their dog mess so gets lots of flies
