Clean and comfortable rooms. The city centre is 5 minutes away by bus and the closest bust stop is around the corner. Me and my friend enjoyed our stay overall. However, our room was so cold all the time. There was a gap between the two windows, I think that was why. I wish extra blankets had been provided at least…

It's fairly basic accommodation but very clean and has everything you need. Very close to lots of amenities and the centre of Oxford.

I stayed here for a conference for 6 days. Very small rooms. Shared bathroom/toilet, which SpeedyBroker (booking agent) did not communicate. Breakfast was ok, but the same food of croissiants, rolls, yogurt, and ham/cheese. No fruit, no veggies. Windows are very thin, and i could hear people talking outside. Also this is pretty far from the main Oxford attractions (~15min walk) Very pricey for the level of quality.

We stayed at the Isis earlier this summer and could not have been happier with our visit. It is after all just student accommodation so the critical reviews are judging unfairly. We found the room comfortable, the bathroom had everything we needed, and the breakfast was excellent. Most of all I can't praise the staff highly enough - every one of them went out of their way to be kind and helpful. We shall certainly stay there again.

Warden rarely at reception desk, frequent repairs in hallways, windows don't open because of suicide prevention or some other stupid British reason, cleaning staff not especially heedful of hygiene, sinks still do not have a single tap for cold and hot water except in a few bathrooms. My room had too much floor space and too little closet and drawer space. Good heating, good location in Oxford, earnest attempts to help residents with their problems and queries, quiet, equipped with all the necessary facilities and comfortable, though everything looks a bit weathered.
