It is recommended to reserve Parking beforehand, as this is very limited. Costs are 35 pound a day, but that included 20 pounds credit for the Caffè, which we ended up using anyway.
The hotel was about 10 minutes walking distance from the city and the neighbourhood it was situated in was nice and quiet. Would stay here again.
The staff were respectful and helpful. Whenever we asked for cleaning, they took care of it. A special thank you to Mohammed for being so friendly, warm and welcoming, and for the lovely conversations. He really made our stay more enjoyable.
The main downside for us was the location. It is a little away from the centre of Oxford, so getting back and forth, especially when we had shopping bags, could sometimes be tiring.
There are also a few things that could be improved. The washing machine was very noisy and vibrated so strongly while running that it almost felt like the whole place was shaking! The bathroom ventilation system also felt a little outdated, and having air conditioning would have made the stay more comfortable, particularly on warmer days.
Overall, we found it a very practical place for a family stay. The kitchen facilities and home-like amenities are a real advantage, especially if you are planning to stay in Oxford for a longer period. We would recommend it to families looking for a comfortable and practical place to stay.
