At 10:30 p.m. as I was on my computer working on statistics for a major academic research presentation my colleague and I were asked to leave the lobby, because, apparently, the lobby “closes” at 10:30.
No hotel where I’ve stayed before had such a policy. Nothing was said to me about this on check-in and I cannot find its mention of this ludicrous policy on the website.
I’ll not be recommending this hotel nor giving it a generous rating as you can see. The ONLY reason it gets above one star is because most of the staff is very nice - even when they enforce ludicrous policies.
With all due respect, your policy is ridiculous. Especially for what the (absurdly small) rooms cost.
