The location is great, with Oxford’s vibrant Cowley Road on your doorstep with all of its fantastic world-cuisine options and a short walk or frequent bus ride to the city. The keyless entry system put me off, but it worked very well either through an app on your phone, or a four-digit code for both the hotel main door and your room.
The soundproofing of the room could be better, and the view from the room (over housing back yards depending on what side of the hotel you are allocated) was nothing to write home about, but for this price it would be churlish to flag these as reasons not to book. If you are booking a hotel room as a place to sleep or base to explore (and not spend time at the hotel itself) then this is a perfect option.
