The bed was wonderfully comfy and it was great to have tea and coffee facilities available. The addition of a fan was much appreciated with the warm weather.
Overall, a really comfortable and enjoyable stay — highly recommended and thank you again Costa!
There was also a comfortable lounge area downstairs and a large garden, both of which I did not really use as I was busy at the conference.
There is no breakfast at the hotel (this was clear to me when booking) but the room was equipped with a hot water kettle and an ample supply of coffee and tea, which was great.
Also, the house is within comfortable walking-distance of the city center and the colleges. There would have been several bus lines going to the city center as well, but as the weather was nice, I always walked through the lovely neighbourhood.
The neighbourhood was very quiet and I was glad that I had booked a room a little outside of the busy city center.
The only thing to be aware of is that the walls appear to be a little thin and during the first night I could hear someone snoring next door, but it did not bother me. Also, be aware that there is no lift, so one does have to carry the luggage up the stairs (just in case you are travelling with heavy luggage).
Overall, I would fully recommend this hotel and absolutely book again when staying in Oxford.
