We had a great stay at Rest & Retreats, Our Shepherds hut was gorgeous and combined with the wood fired hot tub, it was very relaxing. The area is idyllic- amazing views, stone built thatched cottages and with a lovely pub just a stones throw away, we hope to be back soon

We loved our stay at Rest & Retreat! It totally exceeded expectations and every detail was so considered. The hut was beautiful throughout and the surroundings were peaceful and perfect. We would absolutely come back! Communication from Aimee & Andy was also faultless before and during our stay. We couldn’t recommend more.

Spent a weekend in the Edie Hut. Was a really nice weekend, the hut is lovely! Aimee and Andy are extremely welcoming and helpful too! The Alpaca’s provide lots of entertainment! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away.

We have just got back from a 2 night stay in the Freddie cabin for my partners birthday. We had a great stay and hosts were amazing - nothing was too much trouble (even us being absolutely rubbish at lighting the fires). Aimee and Andy made sure the hot tub was warm for our arrival and again the next day whilst we went for some lunch - as we was shocking at keeping the fires lit!! The cabin is stunning, with thoughtful touches inside - bread, cereals, chocolate, marshmallows to toast and complementary Prosecco. They have 4 alpacas wandering around in the field also which was lovely to see, they are very curious and wandered right up the windows, door and hot tub! We had such a relaxing stay and would highly recommend rest and retreats- I did a lot of research before booking and have to say rest and retreats stands out by a mile when compared to other cabins and excellent value for money! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We really enjoyed our stay at the shepherd hut - it was exactly as described, cosy and romantic with lovely touches from the hosts. Sitting in the hot tub with a glass of champagne was the perfect way to see in the New Year! Loved the alpacas too, we'll miss seeing them everyday at breakfast. The hot tub and fire pit were great, with clear instructions from our hosts. The local pub did great food and was literally minutes away. Highly recommended.
